Howard and Vinces boss, American entrepreneur Bob Fossil, cant afford many real animals so we first meet Howard and Vince sitting in the apescage rather bored and dejected to find themselves in ape suits. Vince is accepting of his situation: he is reasonably happy-go-lucky loves bright colours is able to talk to animals and is obsessed with pop music and his mobile phone. Howard sees himself as a bit of an intellectual. He dresses in tweed suits and isnt happy unless he is moaning or in control.
