Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah’s Gokuldham society has been known to celebrate every occasion in their very own style with perfect ‘D’ way – Decorations, Dressing and Desserts .
Along with the perfect ‘D’s’ the residents always find a unique way to enjoy these occasions whether through various competitions or performances. This time around the residents celebrated EID with very special guests The Sabri Brothers, Aftab and Hashim Sabri are known world-wide for their powerful, full throated Qawwali that has enchanting subtlety and beauty.
The track in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah has shown their care and nurture for Abdul and his religion again and again. Lately they fasted together with him as a part of Roza and promise him to celebrate EID in a special way as a gift for him. The gift was not just because it was EID but also because Abdul did a good deed by helping an unknown person by taking him to hospital even if it meant missing his train and his chance to meet and celebrate EID with his family. The deed earned him praise, respect and this gift from everybody.
Well the Sabri Brothers did made the Eid very special but along with them there was another surprise for Abdul, his family was flown down to Gokuldham by the Gokuldham Vasi. In their very own style the residents go all the way for this celebration as well. The Men at Gokuldham were dressed in Pathani and women in Sharara’s and salwar kameezh. The entire society was lit up and decorated with flowers and popular songs by the singers.
Ustad Haji Sayeed Sabri speaking about their appearance on the show said,
“On this pious occasion of Eid, we pray that this reel life affection among people extends into real life too. It was a lovely experience meeting all the artists of the show and performing there was a pleasure. We would like to wish all SAB TV and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah’s viewers Eid Mubarak and hope that they enjoy the performance.”
The Sabri Brothers added ‘Comedy Ka Tadka’ into their Qawwali keeping the flavour of the show maintained. Taking pot shots on Bhide, Popatlal and Sodhi they also requested Daya to join her Garba with their Qawwali tunes. All in all it was like any other episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah in terms of entertainment, fun and celebration.
We agree with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah that if the world starts celebrating festivals like Gokuldham Vasi the missing bonds will rekindle to from a peaceful nation. We support the spirit of Gokuldham Vasi’s full heartedly and wish them all the luck for more episodes of celebration.
