Zee Tv is launching its most popular reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 on 29th September at 9:00 pm. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been entertaining the audience since last 17 years and it has been undoubtedly the most credible and consistent singing reality show that has showcased such a great talent among the youth season after season.

Promotion:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 advertisement and promotion campaign focuses on the viewers’ insight “For a country that knows its music” that has certainly touched the audiences already. The theme ‘Hum jaante hain aap sachche sur pehchaante hain’ will be able to touch the emotional chord with the audience and it will be new and enriching experience with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012.

Auditions:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 auditions were held in 21 cities throughout India over the last three months. More than 1 lakh passionate contenders took part in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 auditions and showcased their immense talent to the judges for the selection for the competition.

Mentors:

The mentors of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 are a group of experts from the music industry who have bestowed our country with some remarkable music and are admired by millions across the world. Here is list of the judges of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012:

  • Sajid Ali & Wajid Ali – Hindi music composer duo
  • Rahul Ram – Indian bass guitarist and music composer in the band Indian Ocean
  • Shankar Mahadevan – Indian music composer and singer

Theme:

The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 version will see the mentors and the contestants as friends unlike the usual Guru- Shishya equation. The stage set-up will be like that of a concert with the musicians on the stage playing live as the contestants sing. Various essentials will be introduced to test the contestants’ music quotient and enhance the level of competition like changing ‘sur’ of the song or throwing a request for a ‘jugalbandi’.

‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ 2012 is back on Zee TV

Yes it’s time for all talented singers to showcase their voice and win the most coveted title “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” as the new season is back. Did you know that this show started in 1995 and till April 2012 it has seen 16 seasons with 1076 episodes? Amazing track record, right!! Well from 1999 till 2001 the show was hosted by the brothers Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan. Soon after that, Shaan started hosting the show and later the name “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” became to be known as the “brand name”.

Apart from the hindi edition, Zee TV Telugu had also started “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” in 2007 and had 2 series named “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors” and “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs” and had also started a new series “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Super Seniors” for aged group above 35 years. Zee Marathi also had its own version of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.” As mentioned Zee TV is all set to bring back the first ever musical talent hunt show on Indian television. And to ensure that they pick the best talent the auditions started 2 weeks back and are almost over now. Auditions were held at Bhubaneshwar, Jammu, Jaipur, Patna, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Nagpur, Guwahati, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, New Delhi and Mumbai.
